I'm a technology industry executive and entrepreneur. Currently I am co-founder, founding COO and EVP of SharesPost.com with the aim to make private equity liquid. Prior to this, I was with Sun Microsystems for 5+ years, most recently as head of corporate development for Java-related businesses. I also drove platform development, launched new products and created alliances for this market leader.

Over the past 18+ years, I've been fortunate to participate in the Internet's commercialization from the vantage point of leading firms (Sun pre-Oracle & AOL pre-Time Warner now AOL again) as well as vanguard startups (now part of Akamai & Wine.com). Functionally, I focus on general management, strategic marketing and new business planning with a healthy dose of get-it-done execution.

As an entrepreneur, I am passionate about the development of new services and business models but focus this interest on market requirements and a clear path to profit.
